The castle still under construction is set to have a great hall, lord’s chamber, towers, and a hydraulic flour mill, corbels, rib vaults and many other parts are to be added as well as furniture, paintings, lime washed walls and other decorative touches. The castle is not supposed to be a grand, royal castle but more of a fortified residence.
Since 2010 the castle has been averaging more than 300,000 visits a year from tourists and this is all while it is still under construction.
As you can imagine the castle would have been complete by now if the project was allowed to use modern construction tools and equipment. Even if they just had a few 21st century tools such as an automatic drill would make such a difference in the construction process.
