We’ve had a great photo sent in of this 64 year old breaker.
Simon Pennick shared this photo with us on our Facebook page. It’s his 64 year old petrol engine breaker. That means this breaker was manufactured in 1952 and it’s still going strong today!
It still has all of it’s original parts, apart from the ignition coil which was replaced 23 years ago.
Here at Fairport we’re proud that our equipment is built to last and we’re glad to see from Simon’s picture that this is true. Have you got a piece of our equipment that has lasted so long? We’d love to see it!
We still manufacture breakers today. Our current breaker is a the FBLV hydraulic breaker as pictured below.

The way they look and the way they work may have changed a little but they’re still built to the same high standards by our team in Sheffield.
Thanks for sending in your picture, Simon. We really enjoyed seeing it!
